We are thrilled to introduce our inaugural release from the highly revered Shantawene washing station: a rare, fully washed expression of the esteemed 74158 cultivar. The 74158 is long considered one of our absolute favorite Ethiopian varieties, and this specific lot presents a competition-level cup profile at an exceptionally accessible price point.

In the cup, this coffee delights with the elegant white peach notes characteristic of the cultivar. These vibrant fruit flavors are beautifully layered with distinct, aromatic notes of jasmine tea, ultimately culminating in a brilliantly perfumed and lingering lychee finish.

Degassing notice

We recommend degassing this coffee for at least 35 days, up to 70. Our coffees often peak around 45 days and 60 days post-roast and are best enjoyed from then until the 90 day mark.

Our omniroast style leads to abnormally long degassing times, but just trust us, once your coffee is degassed properly, you're in for a treat.
